9 Affordable Ways You Can Spoil Your Cats

9 Affordable Ways You Can Spoil Your Cats
We all can come to an agreement when we say that our cats deserve all the best in the world! It's a fact that our cats are super loving and cuddly, so naturally they deserve to be showered with the same love and affection from us! Take Karl Lagerfeld for example. His Siamese cat, Choupette, has two maids that follows him around and check on him all the time! Too much? Debatable. If you have the means then splurge and spoil you cats as much as you want! If you are on a tight budget, worry not! There are different affordable ways to spoil your loving kitties! We may not be as extravagant as Karl Lagerfeld, but we can still give our furry babies the best. Spoil your cats with these 9 affordable ways (equivalent to the 9 lives they get to spend loving you!):

Spend time with them

The gift of time is something money can’t buy and when you spend time with your cats playing, petting, and making memories it’s the best way to spoil your cats without having to shell out some money. They will not only appreciate it, but you will also have fun and feel stress-free so it’s a win for everyone! A day of cuddling and holding each other can be very rewarding. Give them catnip

The best herb you can give your cat. Catnips are a special treat to your cat because of its sedative properties. Your kitties will need this especially when they are extra energetic and stressed. You can sprinkle catnip on your cat’s food and they’ll love you for it!

Set a grooming appointment

Grooming your cats isn’t actually a luxury it’s part of your responsibility as a pet owner. You can even opt to book your cats a day at the spa! Or simply give them a spa-like day at the comfort of your home. It can also become a form of bonding.

A day of peace

There will be times that your cats would like to be left alone and you don't have to be sad about it. Spending alone and quiet time is normal for our feline friends. Most cat breeds are independent and they'll come to you when they are ready. Don't force yourself to them, they won't like it.

High-quality cardboard boxes

If there are things your cats love most, aside from you, of course, are boxes! An old beaten up box from your previous online orders as well as a fresh and sturdy one will do the job. They might actually spend a day or two in it. According to a behavioural study, cats are antisocial and really suck at conflict resolution. Rather than doing something and working things out they tend to regress and avoid their problems entirely. Get them a plain box or you can even decorate and design it however you want! Give them a beautiful view of the outdoors

Cats like to look out the window and watch the environment, most especially looking out for preys. It's their favourite past time! Set them up a cozy spot where they can chill and hangout, move their jungle/condo near a window so they can gaze and appreciate the view. You can even sit with them and watch them and the view while sipping your favourite beverage. Buy a new (affordable) cat toy

Spoil your cats with new fun toys! Especially interactive ones; these are the toys they can enjoy playing with for minutes. Just like the Smartpaw wickedball--it can entertain your cats while you are busy doing something imoprtant! You can also buy a new scratch post or a cat condo/jungle if you haven't yet. Trust me it's gonna be so much for not only for your, but for you as well! Aside from the fun they'll be getting, you'll also be saving your furniture when you get them toys and scratch posts. So, that is definitely a treat and a necessity! [caption id="attachment_10532" align="aligncenter" width="480"]Cat playing with wickedball wool Wickedball -- Interactive Pet Toy[/caption]

Shelves up

Give your cats the best indoor jungle experience! Putting up shelves on your wall where your cat can jump on and explore can be a great treat. Especially when you live a confined space. You'll have fun watching them run and jump up and down your wall.

Buy yummy and healthy treats

There are plenty of affordable treats available in the market you can spoil your cat with! Brands like, CIAO offer plenty of variety you can choose for your kitties. They aren't only tasty, but also healthy! So many health benefits that your cats will thank you for!
